Homepage of Lars Willas Dreyer
Welcome to my homepage! I am a phd student at the University of Oslo, and my primary research interests are numerical modelling, CFD and sensor electronics. My CFD solver of choice is Basilisk C, and you can find some of my (more or less functional) code at my sandbox. I also sometimes code different projects, which can be found at my github.
News and noteworthy events
- (06/09-25) I had the privilege of giving a keynote lecture at the 2025 world hydrocephalus congress in Toulouse, France. The talk was about the general idea behind mathemathical modelling, and how it can be applied to hydrocephalus. You can download my slides here
- (28/08-25) Our paper on floe-floe collisions have been published in Cold Regions Science and Technology. Read the final version either here or download it from here.
- (08/07-25) I presented on the 2025 basilisk user meeting in oxford. You can download my slides here, and find the animations here.
- (08/11-24) We performed a successful test of our buoy at Sognsvann. To see a map, click here
- (16/10-24) Our article Modeling CSF circulation and the glymphatic system during infusion using subject specific intracranial pressures and brain geometries has now been published in Fluids and Barriers of the CNS. Read it here
